Day 1 : Arrive Delhi
Begin your tour.

Welcome to Vardhman's "Buddhist Pilgrinage Tour"! On arrival
in Delhi, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative
to your hotel.

Day2 : Delhi
This morning, proceed on a city tour
Combined city tour of Old & New Delhi.
Visit Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple, a modern Hindu
Temple, Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and Connaught
place, the shopping centre of New Delhi.
Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid,
one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the cremation
sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also drive past Chandni
Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi.
Optional: Dances of India or explore the market & shop for special
bargains!

Day3 :Lucknow -Balrampur-Sravasti
This morning after breakfast drive to Delhi Airport to catch flight
for Lucknow. On arrival at Lucknow airport you will be transferred for
Sravasti via Balrampur by our representative to your hotel.
This buddhist destination is 297 kms from Lucknow and would take up
a train journey to reach the destination. City tour of Sravasti.
By noon we would be there and then all we would do is explore the place.
Not to worry, we would have our lunch and only then would our expedition
start. Sravasti is a popular Buddhist destination and it is this place
where Lord Budhha have shown number of miracles. In fact, you cannot
miss this place if you are on Buddhist itinerary. Night are meant for
sleep and we would exactly do the same.

Day4 : Sravasti-Lumbini
This morning after breakfast leave for Lumbini. This is the place where
Lord Buddha took his first breath. Infact it forms an important Buddhist
pilgrimage destination. On arrival, check into your hotel. Here you
have stupas which depicts the existence of Lumbini as a Buddhist sites.
From Lumbini, we would leave for Kushinagar by a cab/ coach on the same
day. We would have to resort in Lumbini as there are ample of sites
to watch.

Day 5 : Lumbini
This day we would see the sunrise in Lumbini. Proceed on a city tour
of Lumbini.
Explore sites like Mathakur Sites, Ramabhar stupa, Kushinagar museum.
But before that we would have our breakfast. Entire day we would hip
hop from one place to another. We would spend out night in the resort
itself. Sleep tight as the next morning we would leave for Lumbini.

Day 6 :Lumbini- Vaishali
Get up early in the morning, and then leave for Vaishali, another important
Buddhist pilgrimage destination. On arrival, check into your hotel.
Later on proceed on a city tour of Vaishali.
Vaishali is a birthplace of Lord Mahavira and is one of the Buddha's
favorite spot. Ashokan Pillar, the Lion Pillar at kolhua are few tourist
spots which we would like you to explore. Visit the Institute for research
into Buddhism and Pali literature, one of its kind which houses rare
manuscripts. We would also visit Archeological Museum and in the evening
, we would survey the markets. Madhubani Paintings are quite popular
here.

Day 7 :Bodhgaya
In the morning, leave to Bodhgaya. Enroute would fall two another pilgrimage
destination - Rajgir and Bodhgaya. Both these destinations are rich
in revered spots. On arrival, check into your hotel.
Monasteries and temples carry imposing Buddhist and Hindu images. Bodhgaya
is one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage site known for housing a '
Bodhi' tree. Also visit Magdha university museum. In the afternoon,
stolling the city and would know more about it from the localites.

Day 8 : Bodhgaya-Varanasi
This morning after breakfast drive to Varanasi. The city is famous for
its rich tapestary of music, arts,crafts and education. The city have
a long list of attractions and we would want you to explore it. The
magnificent ghats and the terrains were just the best to see Varanasi.
On arrival, check into your hotel.

Day 9 :Varanasi
City tour of Varanasi
Sightseeing tour of the City visiting the Bharat Mata Temple with a
big relief map of India in Marble, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir,
Banaras Hindu University, which has an art gallery and the mosque of
Moghul Emperor Aurangazeb, built on the site of an ancient Hindu Temple.
A walk through the old centre ("golden" temple, ghats...),
Bharat mata temple, Kashi Viswanath temple.

Day 10 :Varanasi-Delhi
Next morning, transfer to Varanasi Airport to catch flight for Delhi.
Upon arrival transfer to International airport by shuttle service to catch
flight for your onward journey to back home with sweet and unforgettable
memories of 'Golden Triangle with Varanasi Tour' escorted by Vardhman
