Day 1 Delhi
Begin your tour.
Arrive into Delhi.
Welcome to Vardhman's "Ladakh Tour". On arrival in Delhi, you
will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative to your hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight: Hotel
Day 02 Delhi
This morning after a leisurely breakfast proceed for the sightseeing
of Delhi.
Combined city tour of New & Old Delhi
Visit Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple, a modern Hindu
Temple, Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and Connaught
place, the shopping centre of New Delhi.
Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid,
one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the cremation
sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also drive past Chandni
Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi.
Optional: Dances of India or explore the market & shop for special
bargains!

Day 03: Delhi - Agra
After breakfast drive to Agra enroute visiting Sikandra Tomb of
Akbar. Upon arrival at Agra check into your hotel.
Afternoon excursion to Fatehpur Sikri.
FATEHPUR SIKRI-The deserted, red Sandstone City, Emperor Akbar built
that as his capital and palace in the late 16th century is an exhilarating
experience. It a veritable fairytale city and its "ruins"
are in pristine condition ... it's not hard to imagine what the court
life must have been like in the days of it's grandeur. Also visit the
Buland Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world.

Day 04: Agra - Delhi
City tour of Agra
Visit Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday), Red fort & Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula.
Later you will visit a marble gallery - the flagship store in Agra which
offers an excellant range of white marble, fashionable wear & exotic
wooden articles, truly a one stop shop!
Later drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi check into your hotel.

Day 05: Delhi - Leh (By flight)
Early morning transfer to the Delhi airport to catch flight for
Leh. Pick up by our representative and transfer to hotel. Take a complete
rest for acclimatization with high altitude (3500 metres above sea level).
Short walk around Leh market in the evening.
Overnight: Hotel
Day 06: Leh - Monasteries -Leh
Today fullday excursion to monasteries, enjoy a wonderful morning
experience at the prayer ceremony at Thiksey monastery. Continue drive
to Hemis Monastery, which is one of the most famous monasteries of the
Ladakh region. Visit to Shey Palace on the way.
Later drive back to hotel.

Day 07: Leh - Chumathang - Tsomoriri (240 km)
This morning after breakfast drive to Chumathang - famous for medical
hot spring. People visit this place for medical bath. Then drive to
Tsomoriri. The Lake at this place is the breeding ground for numerous
species of birds like bar headed goose, crested grebe, Brahmini duck
(ruddy sheldrake) and the brown-headed gull. The Lake is 8 km wide and
28 km long.
Upon arrival at Tsomoriri check into your Tent.

Day 08: Tsomoriri
After breakfast visit to Korzok village. The few barley fields at
Korzok are probably among the highest cultivation in the world. Later
visit around the Lake.Overnight :Tent
Day 09: Tsomoriri - Korzok - Puga - Tsokar - Tanglangla - Leh
Today drive to Puga Valley via Mahe village. The village is famous
for its scenic beauty with shooting fountain and white clouds hanging
upon. Continue drive to Tsokar via Polokongka pass (13500 ft.) and visit
Tsokar (small Lake) and one can visit Thugke Gomp. The place is known
for wild asses - are generally seen here grazing in flocks. A short
drive from here connects to Leh - Manali national highway. Continue
drive towards to Leh via Tanglangla pass (5350 Mtrs.), which is the
second highest motorable pass in the world.
Arrive Leh in the evening check into your hotel.

Day 10: Leh
After breakfast enjoy Rafting on Indus River from Phe to Nimu. Hot
lunch at bank of Indus. In the later afternoon return back to the hotel.

Day 11: Leh - Khardongla Pass - Leh (85 km)
Today Excursion to Khardongla pass, which is the highest motorable
pass in the world 5600 metres and has been recorded in the Guinness
Book of World Records. At the top, enjoy the beauty of the nature. Return
to hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 12: Leh - Srinagar (By flight)
After breakfast transfer to the airport to catch flight for Srinagar.
Upon arrival at Srinagar check into your hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight: Hotel
Day 13: Srinagar
This morning after breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Srinagor.
Visit to world famous Mughal Gardens. Visit Nishat Bagh - the garden
of pleasure and Shalimar Bagh - abode of love. Return to houseboat for
lunch. Afternoon Shikara ride on the Dal Lake and see the interesting
places around the lake.
Overnight: Houseboat
Day 14: Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar (112 km)
Today excursion to Gulmarg - one of the most beautiful summer resort
in Srinagar. Enjoy Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg.
Return to houseboat.
Overnight: Houseboat
Day 15: Srinagar - Delhi (By flight)
After breakfast transfer to the Srinagar airport to catch flight
for Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi check into your hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 16: Delhi
This morning after breakfast transfer to the Delhi airport/railway
station to catch flight/train for your onward destination with sweet
and unforgettable memories of "Ladakh Tour" escorted by Vardhman
Vacations.
